Career Exploration with Bimbo Bakeries
Bimbo Bakeries USA hosted a career exploration workshop to introduce girls to an array of careers including Research and Development, Manufacturing, Sales/Marketing, and Distribution. The workshop provided girls with the opportunity to connect with women executives, learn how delicious treats are developed, and to design a new Little Bite flavor.
Johnson & Johnson Women in Leadership Panel
Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey partnered with Johnson & Johnson to host a Women in Leadership panel for our 7th-12th graders. LaVerne Hunt, Specialty Customer Development Retail, and Danielle Berti, Senior Counsel, led an insightful conversation on diversity, inclusion, and equity. Participants learned from the panelists that the ability to work with different types of people is a leadership skill that will help them thrive in the workplace and our ever-changing society.
