Internships are a pivotal aspect of Project Accelerate. This year we placed 25 high school students at a broad range of large corporations, small companies and social impact organizations. Several are women- and BIPOC-owned and are in fields including engineering, science, design, and more.

We are proud to ensure our participants’ internships paid an average of $13 per hour from a variety of organizations including host companies, the Philadelphia Youth Network, the City of Philadelphia, and Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey.
Next year we are looking to place 60 participants in internships. We are always looking for opportunities for participants to engage in meaningful work while exploring a variety of career and professional development opportunities.
