Position: Corporate Partnership & Internship Liaison

Type: Full-Time
Position Summary:  The Corporate Partnership & Internship Liaison cultivates and facilitates the relationship between Girls Inc. and our corporate and other partners. The Corporate Partnership & Internship Liaison identifies opportunities for career exploration, professional development, service projects, philanthropy, post-secondary planning, and internships for the advancement of Girls Inc. and our participants.

Responsibilities

Partnership Development

  • Develops, manages, schedules, and evaluates partnership/collaboration opportunities with corporations, small businesses, higher education institutions, trade, and professional groups.
  • Manages and expands volunteer opportunities.
  • Maintains accurate records of communications and engagement opportunities.
  • Develops and documents volunteer program policies and procedures for professional partners.
  • Maintains a calendar of outreach activities, including special events, workshops, and collects and processes appropriate volunteer paperwork and maintains the partner volunteer database.
  • Collaborates with senior staff and fund development team to identify corporate grants and other philanthropic opportunities with corporate partners.

Internship Coordination

  • Provides leadership in the development and implementation of viable apprenticeship and internship programs including working with business and community leaders to increase opportunities for Girls Inc. students and alumnae.
  • Works collaboratively with program staff to create policies and procedures which ensure quality internship experiences.
  • Works alongside Girls Inc. staff to identify and promote internships for specific college majors and other post-secondary pathways.
  • Develops a system to evaluate and monitor internship sites which may include but is not limited to in-person site visits.
  • Provides leadership and direction in the areas of individual assessment, educational choices, career planning and development, and employment strategies for students.
  • Develops and revises internship manual and promotional material.
  • Maintains records of all companies and students who participate in internships.
  • Performs internship evaluations to measure the success and effectiveness of partnership experience.
  • Tracks internship hours and payments.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic about the mission and vision of Girls Inc.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Superior project management skills, including organization and detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks efficiently.
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following: partnership development and management, program development, training, and college and career services.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and Web Searches.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field.

Compensation: $42,000-$50,000 based on experience, with benefits package.
Location: Girls Inc. at the BOK Building and other locations as required. Opportunity to work remotely up to three days each week.
