Cristal Bruce

Cristal Bruce is the Site Leader for our Out-of-School-Time program at Heston School. Cristal graduated from Drexel University in 2018 with a degree in early childhood education. Upon graduation, Cristal began working at Playworks PA as an AmeriCorps member in the role of program coordinator at Webster Elementary School. After completing her AmeriCorps term, Cristal worked with the Greater Philadelphia YMCA as a program director overseeing various childcare programs. During her time at the YMCA, Cristal had the opportunity to lead staff in 16 afterschool programs along with one Out-of-School-Time program in Philadelphia and two additional programs in Camden, NJ. Cristal is originally from Abington, PA and enjoys all things plants, pottery, reading, and working out during her free time.
