Jennifer Banks

Jennifer Banks is the Operations Manager of Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. She is responsible for managing the day-to-day effectiveness of the affiliate organization, particularly with a collaborative role in developing and implementing systems that increase the efficiency of our work and supports our ability to grow and expand impact. She has cross-functional duties in administration and infrastructure, human resources, technology, and supporting the Board.

Jennifer started with the organization as a volunteer for the after-school BOLD Futures mentoring program and was once featured in our newsletter’s mentor spotlight. Prior to joining Girls Inc., she acquired experience in non-profit administration and social services. She has a history in training and development, compliance, quality assurance and continuous quality improvement, change management and streamlining processes to achieve desirable outcomes. Jennifer obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 2006 from the University of Delaware, where she majored in English. In 2018, she graduated from Wilmington University with her Master of Science in Management focused on business administration, management and organizational leadership.

A native Philadelphian, Jennifer’s favorite local site is Boat House Row, but she swears by traveling as her best self-care. In her spare time, she loves reading, adventurous fun, and looks forward to any vacation with palm trees. She also spends an invaluable amount of time advocating for women, mental health and wellness, and giving back to the community through various youth-based initiatives, service projects and mentoring. Thrilled to be welcomed to the Girls Inc. family in an operations capacity, Jennifer is looking forward to having an impact behind the scenes in implementing policies and procedures.
