Sarah Kane

Sarah is a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned degrees in Political Science, Communication, and History. During her time in Pittsburgh, Sarah was an active member of the Club Soccer team, Tri Delta, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity, and Order of Omega Honor Society.  Throughout her studies, Sarah was intrigued by the intertwining of these fields and the ways in which rhetoric and discourse influence educational opportunities, political participation, and public opinion. In doing so, Sarah decided to look into non-profit work, most specifically in female empowerment and education.

In the Summer of 2018, Sarah began interning with Girls Inc. and immediately was captivated by the bonds formed with the girls, ranging from the youngest to oldest. Now as their Eureka! Coordinator, Sarah is helping launch Eureka!, a 5 year program committed to helping girls grow strong, smart, and bold through STEM, sport, and personal development.
