Amber Atkins

Amber graduated from Temple University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She interned with Girls Inc. beginning in the Fall of 2017 and returned as an intern in the Spring of 2018. Amber was offered the position of Program Specialist for the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Service Center (PJJSC) after she graduated. She facilitates lessons on Healthy Sexuality, Media Literacy, Economic Literacy, Healthy Decision Making, and Self-Esteem Development for the BOLD Futures program and at the PJJSC.

Amber says she chose Girls Inc. because “girl power is easily the greatest super power known to man — we have to make sure that our girls understand just how amazing they already are and how much more amazing they can be!”
