Position: Site Supervisor — OST Heston
Type: Full-Time
Position Summary: This position supports the implementation of one of the Girls. Inc. Out-of-School Time (OST) programs, funded by the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Children and Families. The role is responsible for developing, leading, and executing a high-quality structured after-school program for K-8th grades at Heston School, but that location is subject to change.

Responsibilities
Program Facilitation and Development
- Assists with the recruitment of 60 youth, specifically those considered high risk, to participate in the program daily.
- In partnership with the Site Director, Site Director, lead the daily operation of the aftershool program, ensuring activities are implemented according to program requirements.
- Supervises and guides Group Leaders- ensuring staff are following procedures, curricula, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment for children.
- Lead, plan, and organize age-appropriate educational, recreational, and enrichment activities. Ensure that staff make accommodations to activities based on children’s interests, needs, and developmental levels.
- Collaborates with school administration, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition between school and after-school program activities.
- Ensures that all program activities comply with licensing, health, safety, and program policies.
Reporting & Evaluation
- Produces written reports on program outcomes as required by funder or supervisor.
- Improves programs based on evaluation results and best practices, identifying areas for program support, growth, and expansion.
Additional Responsibilities
- Attends events that support the organization’s mission.
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisor and organization administrators.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience working with a diverse population of students, preferably in a school setting.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Must submit up-to-date clearances(FBI criminal, PA Child Abuse History Verification, and PA State criminal).

Compensation: $45,000; We offer full-time employees comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, 403b retirement plan, and Paid Time Off.
Location: Hybrid work schedule. Must be able to commute to Girls Inc. at the Bok Building (South Philadelphia). Must be able to report to daily after school program site as contracted.
