Position: Evaluations & Outcomes Specialist
Reports To: Associate Director of Programs & Advocacy
Type: Part-Time
Position Summary:  Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey is a data-driven organization that relies heavily on outcomes to inform our programs. This position will assist with collecting demographic data in our Compass-360 database, and producing program reports to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our participants and reaching program goals.

The Girls Inc. national network serves over 140,000 girls through 84 affiliates.  Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey is the local affiliate serving 3,000 girls in the Greater Philadelphia region and Camden, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

Data Entry & Evaluation

  • Assist with the collection and data management for 1,500+ students.
  • Prepare and sort data entry and assessment documents, including reviewing program applications, surveys, and feedback forms.
  • Enter data into the Compass-360 database and check data to ensure accuracy weekly.
  • Work collaboratively with Girls Inc. staff to resolve discrepancies in the Compass-360 database, including but not limited to updating participants’ profiles with missing data.
  • Query the Compass-360 database to provide data for grant applications and reports.
  • Run monthly reports for grant-specific programs.
  • Provide feedback on evaluation and outcome protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of college completed preferred.
  • High levels of professional effectiveness, collaboration, and integrity.
  • Experience with data collection and outcomes; experience with Compass-360 a plus.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and web searches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: $20/hour up to 12 hours a week
