Discovery
Early grade literacy program for 5-8 year olds to cultivate their leadership skills through literacy and healthy lifestyle activities. Girls are encouraged to investigate the world around them and gain confidence to create change within their community and lives. Discovery girls will ignite their inner power and be inspired to be strong, smart, and bold! Participants meet two Saturdays per month.
STEM Gems
STEM-focused program for 9-11 year olds to explore, ask questions, persist, and solve problems through hands-on activities. Girls learn to view STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers as exciting and filled with new opportunities. STEM Gems inspires girls to have fun while exploring chemistry, electrical engineering, environmental science, and media arts. Participants meet two Saturdays per month.
Bold Futures
This yearlong after school mentoring program equips participants with the guidance, support, and skills necessary to be engaged in school, build healthy relationships, and reduce risky behaviors. Participants are supported by university and professional mentors who facilitate a wide range or engaging activities throughout the year. Participants meet twice during the week and may join optional Friday sessions for homework support, wellness check-ins or to make up missed sessions.
Rising Stars
Rising STARS is a leadership program for middle school aged girls designed to equip them with the skills to investigate their rights and responsibilities, and create lasting social change within the community. Participants partner with professional and college mentors to complete a community action project. Through this program, participants will gain the confidence to dream big and achieve their goals. Participants meet two Saturdays per month.
Ambassador Club
Through this older sister program to Rising STARS for ages 15-18, Ambassadors Club is a high school leadership and post-secondary readiness program designed by prepare the next generation of leaders by utilizing a holistic approach to support girls as they grow into healthy, educated, independent women. Ambassadors explore post-secondary academics and careers, develop personal goals, and participate in career exploration opportunities. Using a group mentoring model that is supported by professional partners and trained staff, Ambassadors create a sisterhood of support while developing the tools they need to succeed in high school and beyond. Ambassadors Club meets two Saturdays per month.
Eureka!
Eureka! is our intensive 5-year STEM-based program for 13-18 year olds aimed at building confidence and skills through hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Utilizing a whole girl approach, the program also incorporates physical fitness, personal development, and college and career readiness. Eureka! broadens girls’ academic and career interests, encourages enrollment in advanced math and science courses, promotes positive risk-taking, and assists girls in developing professional networks.
