Allison Hosak
Allison Hosak serves as the Senior Vice President, Global Communications at Avantor, where she leads Enterprise-wide communications, investor relations, sustainability and brand marketing. Throughout her twenty-four-year tenure, Allison has been instrumental in positioning Avantor as a global leader in life sciences with key stakeholders. She has guided Avantor through many significant milestones, including the company’s initial public offering, corporate rebrand, and multiple mergers, integrations, and divestitures.
As the leader responsible for Avantor’s sustainability initiatives, Allison is committed to making a meaningful impact in the communities where the company operates. She also serves on the Avantor Foundation Board of Directors, which has donated over $9 million to philanthropic causes since 2009. Under her leadership, the Company has launched the Giving Goodness platform, encouraging volunteerism among Avantor associates. This initiative includes paid volunteer time off and financial matching for donations and personal volunteer hours. In 2024, Avantor associates contributed more than 18,400 hours to support nonprofit organizations globally.
Avantor’s philanthropic efforts reflect its mission to “set science in motion to create a better world.” Through partnerships with local organizations, Avantor advances STEM education for underrepresented high school students, provides equitable access to healthcare for underserved populations, and promotes environmental stewardship in the communities where it operates. Both Avantor and the Avantor Foundation have been long-standing supporters of Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey ranging from the donation of STEM activity kits to supporting the Eureka program to the establishment of a new STEM lab allowing the girls to innovate and thrive.
Allison is also the Executive Sponsor of Avantor’s Diverse Abilities Associate Centric Team, which is aimed at helping all diversly-abled associates thrive at Avantor – whether an associate faces challenges due to a physical disability, neurodiversity, mental health issues, or caregiving.
Allison holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Kutztown University.
Outside of work, Allison leads by example in balancing a successful career with family life and is a frequent presence at her sons’ basketball, lacrosse, and football games.
