Amber interned with Girls Inc. beginning in the Fall of 2017 and returned as an intern in the Spring of 2018. Amber was offered the position of Program Specialist for the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Service Center (PJJSC) after she graduated from Temple University in 2018 with her Bachelor’s in Psychology. In 2022, Amber obtained her Master’s in Criminal Justice from Purdue University Global and most recently obtained her second Master’s degree in Human Services in June 2025, also from Purdue University Global. In addition to her work at PJJSC, she is also leading our PLCB initiative.

Amber says she chose Girls Inc. because “girl power is easily the greatest super power known to man — we have to make sure that our girls understand just how amazing they already are and how much more amazing they can be!”

In her spare time, Amber enjoys napping, being creative, and watching football. Go Birds!
