Amber graduated from Temple University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and earned her first Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Purdue University Global in May 2022. She interned with Girls Inc. beginning in the Fall of 2017 and returned as an intern in the Spring of 2018. Amber was offered the position of Program Specialist for the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Service Center (PJJSC) after she graduated. In addition to her work at PJJSC, she now is leading our initiative with partner, GearUp as well as pursuing a second Master’s degree from Purdue University Global in Human Services.
Amber says she chose Girls Inc. because “girl power is easily the greatest super power known to man — we have to make sure that our girls understand just how amazing they already are and how much more amazing they can be!”
