Sam Wheatley(she/her)
Sam is the Post-Secondary Success Coordinator at Girls Inc. of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey. She is a member of the Project Accelerate team and serves as the lead facilitator for the Ambassador Club.
Sam comes to Girls Inc. with a background in higher education and college football. She spent more than six years working with football student-athletes from the University of Minnesota, East Carolina University, and the University of Pittsburgh. Sam held a variety of roles related to academic support services, most recently as the Director of Academic Services for Football at Pitt.
Sam earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration in 2017 from the University of Cincinnati. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing in 2018, also from the University of Cincinnati. During her time at Cincinnati, Sam was a member of the Women’s Swimming and Diving team where she broke multiple school records and served as a team captain.
Originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Sam has also lived in Las Vegas, NV, Cincinnati, OH, Minneapolis, MN, Greenville, NC, and Pittsburgh, PA. In her free time, Sam enjoys spending time with her sisters, going for long walks, and trying new-to-her restaurants and coffee shops.
